But, after a nine-day public questions, Robinson, 77, has actually been given consent to continue hosting occasions on the sprawling 450-acre estate, where Poldark star Eleanor Tomlinson exchanged pledges with rugby player Will Owen.

Neighbours complained about traffic, music and firework screens lasting into the small hours and said the estate did not have consent for 'change of use' in order to host wedding events.

After two preparation applications and an appeal, preparing authorization has now been granted subject to a variety of conditions to manage noise and address highway security concerns.
